Why “Unmasked?”

I chose “unmasked” because I believe in stripping away the pressure to be perfect. Social media often paints a picture of motherhood that’s polished and pristine, but the truth is, that is far from the reality. Specifically, I want to provide an honest motherhood experience, sharing the sleepless nights, the mental health struggles (including postpartum), the meltdowns (both mine and Zay’s!), and those precious, unadulterated moments of joy. In other words, I want to provide a realistic perspective, because we all deserve to see the truth of motherhood reflected.
